Quiet and private places: Cats naturally love privacy, especially when using the toilet. Choose a relatively quiet, undisturbed corner for the litter box.
- Avoid food and water bowls: Most cats don’t like their toilets near the feeding area. Keep the litter box away from your cat’s food and water bowls to avoid irritating your cat.
Easy access: Make sure the litter box is in a place where the cat can easily find and get into it. This is especially important for kittens, elderly cats, or cats with limited mobility.
